Bobbie LorraineELKS(Former Teacher at Greatwood Primary School)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Lorraine on the19th August, whilst holidaying in France. Lorraine, aged 76, of Tean, was the devoted and adored wife of Mick, a much loved mum of Phil and Cathy, and cherished also by their partners Rachel and Stuart. She was a treasured granny of Finn, Louis and Jessica and a dear sister in law to Chris and Sue. She had close friends in the area, having lived in Tean most of her life, and will be missed by many.

Funeral Monday 29th September, service at Christ Church Tean at 1:30pm followed by interment at Checkley Parish Cemetery, Hollington Road, Tean.
Family and friends wishing to attend are kindly invited to meet at the above Church.
Family flowers only please, charitable donations if desired to Asthma and Lung UK.

Lorraine was the most wonderful person. Clever, kind and gentle. She loved her family. She was a lovely neighbour to us. Rest in Peace Lorraine. Gone but never forgotten, very much loved and missed. Much love Denis and Jean xx

Sending my deepest Sympathy to all the family. Mrs Elkes( Miss Farmer) was my teacher at Great Wood Primary school. Such a lovely person, who always remembered me whenever she saw me.. R.I.P ❤️
